I was like 35 in line last time I checked.

That's a good point. Probably why the trolls do hang around, I'm guessing. They just have to respond to an email every now and then and sit back and wait.

Also, saw that there were ~70 slots left for beta earlier today, how many seeds are you planning on sowing for the beta?
As soon as possible - I'm working on it now. It uses the same login as the game (is in the "lobby" as it were) so it will only be for those players accepted for closed beta, until the game launches.
100 for now, there may be a second phase depending on how the server handles the load.

Ah, I was hoping it would be something like that. Some forums get insane during closed betas...

That's good news, I do seem to remember that being one of the original concerns for FTO, so it's good thta you're already getting back that response.

lol. Desperate, eh? Are all the slots filled then? If not, are you just waiting for them to be filled to begin beta?
Also, maybe a weird question, but I'm a wanderer, so it's something that interests me: How is travel treated in Reveries? I hear alot of comments on FTO not allowing interaction or anything else during movement between regions, which I imagine could make moving with a large group difficult. How are you addressing nomadic tendencies?

Yeah, it's one of the main reasons I decided to start the project - I think it is very appealing to women, they just often aren't even aware of it.

Far from it, still plenty of spots left.. but no, still very much in development and will be for some time. I just decided to open the application process early because I'm being fairly fussy about who I'm looking for.

I'm imagining an awesome "Land Ho!" type moment for seafaring.
Mapping should be fun then
I love cartography!
