Re: What is FTO?
Woohoo - my first character is pregnant.... so excited to see how this turns out. I hope they aren't all sleepers, we need a little action.

Re: What is FTO?
I'm curious, as it sounds like quite a few of you know each other's characters in the same location...
How many "settlements" are there? I've got my second character just about ready to be born, and am looking forward to seeing who/what they wind up being.
The frogs are fun, but really sleepy, and have so many graves around town.. /sobs

Re: What is FTO?
From what I've heard there are at least 3 or 4 known continents. Quite a few settlements on each. But through some random chance some of us are in the same colony, or living nearby.
My three are all different races too - and I've heard of many other races that were not the standard human variety.

Re: What is FTO?
I think there are very many settlements and I don't actually know other people in game except Pirate Lass. I used to know a couple on the forums but one died and in the other case my character dies so I'm not around that other character anymore. It's someone nicknamed Speck, I played his grandmother.
Did I mention my other character is an aellari? Apparently they live in several places too. There are awfully many dead ones in the crypt so I guess the community used to be much bigger in the past.

Really Seko? LOL I've got one too, though we call ourselves Sethra, I guess we split off due to religious differences.

Re: What is FTO?
I've managed to stay active with a char up to age 4. One of the things I'm really liking is the culture that's been established. There's a dialect unique to the race with their own names for things. Tension/conflict with a nearby settlement of the same race - my char is pretty much oblivious to it but oocly I'm still trying to figure out the story behind the split.
Nate, I think you'll see a lot of graves/deaths in any settlement. Just like Cantr, they get a lot of sleepers. Mine was born a triplet and is the only one still alive (one died and I'm not sure if the third died or wandered off but I haven't seen him in ages). Only one out of a set of triplet cousins is still alive. etc...

We have some Sethra visiting our town. You wouldn't happen to be one of those?

I've been in the mines, so havn't watched you all too much. Tania is starting to piss my character off though. Are you the little one scrabbling to eat the entrails? The Sethra all think that's disgusting, though most are too polite to say anything in public. We only eat cooked meat from clean animals (not monsters) and honey.

Re: What is FTO?
Yeah. My character has practically been abandoned by her parents so she's very feral and has to scavenge to survive. It's a bit overwhelming seeing such big piles of entrails at once but she was able to pick the ones that weren't moldy when there were so many to choose from. She's like a combination of a seagull and hamster. Also one thing she does is gather feces, since no one seems to clean that up. She hasn't learned to bury it so she just picks them up and has four at the moment. Used to have one more but I think it rotted away, unless I dropped it inside. It's a shame those can't be handed to other characters. It was funny when Rurik was eating a frog and he said something and a frog leg was dangling from his mouth.

Re: What is FTO?
LOL - you're welcome for the entrails then.
I don't think I'll be there much longer, my character does not like it there at all, she was going to go back to their home, but now I think she may go adventuring for a bit.

Re: What is FTO?
Seko, how old is your char there? I think you might have been the one ho's birth finally made my character off themself.

My first char had 2 babies! Of course one was awake before I refreshed the screen. Still waiting for the other to wake up.

Re: What is FTO?
I think I'm 3 now. My parents are awful. So who are they mourning for, this Anisa person? And did she die while my rani was pregnant or did she get pregnant after it happened, because the latter would be silly. I think my brother is dead but I don't know what happened to the body. Maybe someone ate it? There's one unmarked grave outside but I don't remember if I saw it afterwards. I don't know why such irresponsible people made pups in the first place. Or why did they mate with each other when Tasiya is hanging out with Narin all the time? At first I thought Narin is my kavo but then it turned out he wasn't, at least biologically. Instead I have a kavo who can't spell properly and sleeps so much that he would die if others wouldn't look after him.
