I was responsible but my damned grandchildren didn't understand the importance of procreation, so my group is down to 3 and we're probably all sterile by now.

I hope you leave some history written in the caves or something, so the ruins of our race can be found by future archaeologists.

I'm in queue - but at like 144, so quite a bit of waiting for me.

It'll be worth it! Just be glad you didn't have to wait from like 300 or something like happened in the past...

Re: What is FTO?
I wish FTO would allow several characters per account. I don't feel like starting a second account but there's no reason to let my first character die when there's so much to build and explore. Still, I'd really like to play a baby. By the way, I just noticed it says "woman of her ancient-age", and "woman of her middle-age" and "man in his adulthood" in our stub of a colony. That sounds quite silly. Couldn't it rather say an ancient woman, a middle-aged woman, an adult male?

Re: What is FTO?
The more I read this thread the more it seems like a rip off of Cantr...

Re: What is FTO?
How come? On some levels FTO is much more advanced than Cantr. You can't see the resources when you arrive in a location, you only find out what can be found after foraging, and there might be several subareas with different pool of resources. There's much more variety than in Cantr. There are no notes so people have to make parchment and such, although now you could engrave/write on anything. They had custom descriptions from the beginning, opposed to Cantr. People are born instead of spawned. Manufacturing is much simpler than in Cantr. You don't have to mess with grams. There seems to be a wider variety of things you can build. Furniture will boost healing rates, and you don't need to actively rest on something, it assumes everyone can benefit from bedding and such. Some things can attract animals and some can scare them away. Although I've never seen an animal attack anyone even though it's been a while since it was announced they can attack people.
