I have seen it called the radical. I haven't looked at many proper Chinese dictionaries, so I am kind of going to let all you experts kind of decide on what will keep the things organized the best.
Bottom line is that in order for, say the Category:Resources page to be organized, we should name the individual resource pages (radical)[characters].
Trying to go back to my original idea of naming the page in PinYin, we could try naming the pages (pinyin)[characters] and then everything will be listed alphabetically (english) according to the first letter of the pinyin.
B 菠菜 (link [[bo1cai4菠菜|菠菜]] ) --> page name = Bo1cai4菠菜
M 木头 (link [[mu4tou5穆头|木头]] --> page name = Mu4tou5穆头
毛皮 (link [[mao2pi2毛皮|毛皮]] --> page name = Mao2pi2毛皮
and so on and so forth. Does that make sense? Advantage here will that it would make the PinYin easily available alongside the character used in game for the Western speakers who are learning chinese (like me!
). Someone comes to the wiki, browses visually for the new character they are trying to define and clicks to find all the information they want about it.
