Animals/gyvūnas

Postby Doug R. » Thu Apr 19, 2007 3:13 am

Greetings! I'm the new Resource Department Shepherd, charged with keeping watch over the animals in Cantr. I'm starting this thread so I can get feedback from all the language groups about the animal situations on their islands. Your feedback is appreciated, even if (especially if) everything is perfect (if it's not broke, don't fix it).

I think evrything is quite alright. Exept scarabs. They spred like som sort of bad desies. In som regions where have never been humans, scarab populations reaches up to 150. They are also very agresive and very dangerous for new chars ho has no protection. Other animal population depends on regions. Some animals like those regions, some dont. That is very good. But you should do something about those scarabs.

Hi. On your U-shaped island, there are only 3 kinds of animals. Has it always been so? Do you want more?

Presently, we encounter lots of scarabs and buffalos and a few hawks. There used to be some sheep but I haven't seen them around for quite a while. More species would definately be welcome as they would bring some diversity to the economy of the island.

In old days in the begging of our "civilization" on U shape, as you call it, we had also some rabbits, and even we had leopards (even one location used to be named a long time ago according the name of this animal –leopard). Hope it still unchanged. So rabbits, sheep would be nice to found everywhere and leopards (in the northern plains).

Well, there are no plains on the U island. Are you talking about the hills stuck between the north-west mountains and the north-east forest?

I readed several old reports (oldest was only 1534) and found animals: scarab, mountain goat, hawk, buffalo, sheep. I remmember that there was rabbits for sure, and koala. I didnt traveled much at beginning and later was bug that allowed unlimited hunting... Not much animals left from these times... Maybe we should wait for someone who is playing long enought and have kept reports?
And yes, i would like to see more animal types in this island.
