Newspawn are "born" on Aldurea Island. It is big island, more than 100 location. Big mountains, many forest, green grasslands. Many plants, many places. And no animals. If most polish island are size of europeans countries, then Aldurea have size of whole continent. Big continent with no animals becose RD dont bother with seedeng them even when know about situation. It wasnt planned, it is only careless.
I dont remember any hemp, silk or cotton there. And no animals. So lets new players, newspawn spend whole life naked, even without simple tools, it will be so interesting for everyone. Or spend years to escepe island, build boats and travel.
Animals it is something what help young players and chars get something own, own clothes, own primitive tools. It is somthing what you can do and say: "I have pants, it is not much but it is something more then before, It is progress, I can be pround, I do that myself". It isnt good if new chars are totaly helpless and everything is on mercy of older chars.
No animals in big island is interesting, for people who hear about that, not for people who live there. And many newspawn start there.
I want to see new animals there. mayby not much, mayby not everythere. But empty forest, empty mountains are just stupid, strange and depressive. If Alduea will be island with few kinds of animals what can be found only there, it will be much better. It can be ever animals what dont live in prezent times on earth. Or anything new. Small and big snakes, new birds, mayby only reptiles in many forms or something like that.
