CR Breach in Zhift Forest: Could PD Just do a very, very ...

Could you please just quickly check Zhift Forest to see if there are any dual accounts?

99.9% of the people there talk the same, in the lower-case misspelling way...

I'd really appreciate it, as I as a player am quite fearful for my character if they have this OOC influence ganging up on me.

Possibly it's just how all new players write, but I'm really not too sure...

If it takes too long to check if there are any players with two characters there, forget it and lock the thread... Otherwise, it's greatly appreciated. Thanks.

While we're on the subject, does the player of Jasmine in Djorf Hills South also have a character named Alexia? And maybe another girl in the same town?

This was awhile ago...I didn't read the reports till several days after the fact, but it seemed a little suspicious. But since the thread is already here I might as well ask.

Jasmine and Alexia talked the same, were on at the same time and swapped a few resources. I thought it was a little suspicious but not enough to report, but later I noticed another woman in her twenties with equally bad typing contributing to a discussion at the same time Jasmine was.

You mean Jasmine and Amanda? And Triston?

I'm pretty sure the one I'm thinking of is Alexia, but she may not even be there anymore. Don't remember if she left town after that or not...

This is being investigated, Lumin. Thanks for the report.

Thetaris, yours is much more difficult to investigate. If you could PM with some of the character names that you are suspicious of, I could much easier check for you.

While you're at it, I think it might be worth while checking up the character Triston, mentioned above.

He's obviously a newspawn with far too much IG knowledge of the area and he really knew how to mess up things, sabotaging machines , knocking, dropping notes.

He's presently in the storage room inside the Dark legion Outpost in DHS.

I'd like to suggest that this thread (or one like it) be made into a sticky like the suicidal newspawns and such. It seems to be the most common CRB problem without a sticky already.

"Reporting characters played by the same player" or something of that sort.

I could see where this would backfire and people start reporting all sorts of silly little things, but I have faith in the discretion of Cantr players.

You can always e-mail the PD at players@cantr.net. I am concerned that it could be a new player that would only get embarassed about an open forum message about their playing and unsubcribes because of it. Just my opinion.

"Can you run a check" messages should be sent directly to PD in any case, since there usually isn't too much the forum community can do to help - PD runs their quick check, and that's that.

makes enough sense to me.

Found a couple of the CRB'ers. Went on a little poking and provoking. Tested with who was online and checked if they would respond (either of them) the same depending on what I said, ie, "Ohh I'm gunna be such a traitor to that guy!" and "I can't wait to help you out!" lol... that was an example though.

I've already emailed the Players Department about this, and considering I didn't actually quote anything said, it's not really breaking the 4-day rule I guess.

I really don't understand all that you're saying, Thetaris, but please don't do it anymore. "Poking and Provoking" to find people who are cheating in-game is not how we do things. Players are not to be trying to handle things in game such as you are suggesting you did, if that's what you meant.

Oh no, he apparently stole some wood and it was just a cause-and-effect that my character had to provoke him. :)
