There is some obvious cheating going on here.
I believe it was a total of three characters that each arrived at different times there and a couple introduced themselves and never spoken to each other... then out of the blue, once the third character arrived they entered all of the buildings at the same time and all of the sudden went into one and built a lock together. They never even said a word to each other... then, they attacked my character sharing the same weapon, again no communication between them. They are also always awake at the same time.

Thanks... I hope this matter is sorted out soon. I would hate for my character to die and the entire town altered forever because someone is cheating.

There does not appear to be any cheating going on with the situation in Lakeside. All characters involved belong to different players.

Might they be players who go to the same school or something? Can IP addresses be checked (not infallible if they are talking on a messenging service and accessing the site from home but it would pick up three people logging in from the same organisation)?

I will do that for you, Wulf, but I really don't think so.

This sort of stuff is an obvious CR breach, and worst of all it's using out-of-game resources/connections to do real harm to in-game characters. Regardless of whether they're run by the same player, they're cheating and it's obvious.
Why can nothing be done?

How come it's cheating?
Maybe the chars planned this from the start?
I've done such things before in raids on city's/

Gah!

Have any of you that think it's obvious cheating ever thought that it
might be good IG planning instead of a CR breach?! Don't make absolute statements like that when you don't know because it's obviously not obvious.

Ahem. Since it has been far more than four days, I will explain why we're so well organized. All three of us (characters, not players) belong to the same company. On a resource run to the outpost of my character, my character's boss mentioned something of taking Lakeside. We discussed it, quite thoroughly, and then set off on the task. We talked about it on the road too, especially the specifics of the go-inside-make-lock-thingy.

I have, one of my characters took part in such an activity, very well planned, carried through, and...sucessful.

can it be looked into to see if any players (even the boss) had a character by the name of Zak or Janus? Those two characters not long ago attempted the exact same thing in Quillanio Lakeside, both characters were killed and what is happening now looks very much like the exact same thing. Whether it is one of the characters currently involved or their 'boss' character that was one of the two. And both Zak and Janus tried the same thing and were awake at the same time, just as this group, which both are attacking the same town... seems a little odd to me.

Seeing as they were both killed, I'd imagine that if they were trying it *again*... they'd try something different?

Heh I'm the boss and yes it was well coordinated. I was not this Zeck person you can check on it if you'd like. I would like to ask in conjunction with this if it is against the rules to work on projects 5 seconds before the project change and then run inside after it so you can't be hit.
EDIT: Oh yea it's not Quilanoi Lakeside It's Ondelin, Romulus
