The government there has used OOC information to create it's guiding principles. Which come from a book series called the Sword of Truth series.

Well, it's unoriginal. If there's an OOC ring to boot, well, then something needs done.
If we only used IC ideas, things would stagnate. For example, eating. Why would a cantrian thing anything is wrong with eating sand? You don't "do" anything to eat, you just hold food. Hold sand. It's not the same as everyone else, but everyone else is holding stuff and staying alive, why shouldn't you?
Some OOC stuff is not only allowed, it's NESSECARY.
However, that said, while they picked a good series, it is unoriginal.

But as you know OOC overt influence is frowned upon in game...have some damn creativity.
