But the point is that you CANNOT have a spanish character unless the character spawned in the spanish area. So he cannot know spanish either.

So sorry, you can't do that.

Well, for the record one of my characters met Alouette before Siom. He was doing fine then and speaking only English, although I could just tell OOC that the player wasn't English. He was a bit confused and had been misled terribly, 5K of his wood for 1.5K of raw hemp, I believe. And after that he get's beaten up and chucked in jail? So maybe he's babbling in tongues (Biblical precedent!) Think I would too in the circumstances.

Hope he makes it. :)

It isn't perfect, but it should help you survive in the hostile, English-only areas of Cantr.
