I LIKE IT, exept it shouldn't take that long to make. I see great uses for this in expanding teritory. In fact, I could really use this to help the country I live in(In cantr.....)

No locks, perhaps? That could be the main disavantage.
I don't get how a hole made into the ground could hold a lock, without a wooden door, or something like that.

I have opened this idea for discussion in RD. I feel a few more cheaper buildings will be nice for the developing areas of the game, so long as we can keep them with enough limitation to still make the proper buildings desireable.

To limit them, what about preventing locks, internal rooms and extensions been built in them, that way, they act as simple shelters, smaller than current ones, perhaps a dug out and a tent like structure (maybe Yurts as well using the wool cloth?). These could be made moveable later on.

Didn't realise this was here, so see similar ideas here:

*bump*
So, pretty much the idea is a small building called a fox hole, dug-out ect... that holds one person and has no lock, or possibility of extensions. It is built with a shovel or pickaxe... Am I right?
Sounds good, but technically this provides better protection from attackers than any other building since they can't hit you, and they can not come in. You can just lay in your "hole" and remain untouched...

Dung..?
Smelly housing as well, then? Although it could be possible. I'd prefer the tent, hides combined with some wood, though.
Two persons would fit inside, not too much weight, (perhaps 15,000 grams,) but being rather cheap compared to the other buildings.

Well I meant more like tribal (dried) dung huts...
