Automatic turn reports

Postby *Wiro » Sat Jul 18, 2009 12:57 am

I'd like a feature that would automatically send you a turn report each day. Don't think it'd be too hard to implement, would it?

Well it should be optional, either "on" you always receive it or "off" you only receive it on request. I already have too much email, and I don't want to have to declare email bankruptcy because of Cantr.

(Also, "automatich" ends in c. )

This has been rejected earlier because it would cause tremendous load on the server.

Dunno how that h got there, fixed it. And really? Hmm, but it is pretty hard for me to keep clicking on the turn reports and not forget about it. Are older event logs saved?

No, they're only kept for a week. Maybe the buttons for sending turn reports could be moved up on the page so that they come right after the characters or something, so that you would be more likely to see them, but the template manager might still be broken and that might be necessary for altering the page.

I thought event logs were saved for PD, though...oh well, I will have to pay more attention then.

I wouldn't trust an automatic one with a checkbox or whatever anyways. Kinda doesn't work for me with the forum "receive email notifications" so I don't trust it with event logs.

I don't even use my event logs or see a reason for them, to be honest.

Me neither, I have never even looked at one except for the ones you get when a character dies...
