Last Time Hit

Postby MrDudeBroMan » Thu Apr 30, 2009 8:01 pm

Hello all,

I'm new here, but I have a little suggestion I'd like to make, in regards to hunting and fighting.
We all know that you can only hit something once per day, but what I would like to see is a little note next to a characters (or animals) name after you hit them, that says when you hit them. This takes the guesswork out of trying to remember when you last hunted, or hit somebody.
Basically it would look like this (I'll use the hunting screen as an example for this one)

18 buffalos (last hit 2594-0.11)
11 buzzards (last hit 2594-0.11)
6 peacocks (last hit 2592-3.6)
26 donkeys (last hit 2594-0.11)
17 weasels (last hit 2592-3.6)
21 mule deer (last hit 2594-0.11)

So as you can see, you'll be able to see exactly when you last hit an animal, and with just one glance to the top of the screen, you can see what time it is now. Also, please not that it should show the last hit time even when it's been more than a day.
So that's basically my suggestion. I hope you guys like it and can get it implemented some time in the near future :)

What keeps you from scrolling down and checking in the events list when you attacked last?

Well my first inclination is to say laziness, but this is just more convenient. And plus, if there's lots of other action going on since you hunted, it might take a little while to find when you hunter.
Having it all right there is just more... convenient.

I've never had a problem remembering when I last hunted or attacked somebody...

I never know the EXACT TIME but usualy I remember the general time. Such as 12:30 pm (EDT/EST/whatever) but the time might have been 12:28 or 12:34... yeah.

Wouldn't it be easier to just have a marker to show whether you can hit the thing or not? eg:

18 buffalo (not hit today)
etc

or something. And/or just remove the ability to hit stuff unless it's possible to do so.

Yeah. Where have you been? It removes the checkboxes from ones you have already attacked today.
