Make wood from timber [DUPLICATE]
It seems logical to be able make wood from timber. I think this should required saw and any machinery(I didn't found any suitable so I think need add one)
My suggestion add sawhorse and chanse to make wood from timber.
Sawhorse
Skill used: Carpenting
Time : ~3days
Materials : 3000g of wood
Tools : stone, bronze or regular hammer;knife, bone knife or bronze knife
Making wood (timber)
Maximum workers: 2
Output per day of labour: 2000 grams of wood
Required resources: 3000 grams of timber
Required tools: saw
This is good way to use timber and solve wood deficit problem in some locations.

hmm...
This would only make sense if:
A: The game started this way. As in when they first made the game you HAD to get wood from timber, which seems plausible but it would have been a hassle.
B: Say you have 5 pieces of timber and you could make 10 pieces of wood each. But that doesn't work because everything goes by weight.
What i'm trying to do hear is figure out the point... there is none. Timber out of wood would be nice.. but again it's impossible in real life so there ya go. [/quote]

The point would be that timber is gathered WAY faster than wood. Naturally processing timber to wood would take some time but for a person with good equipment, it might be faster to gather timber with an axe and change it to wood instead of gathering wood with an axe. You know since it's only 600 grams a day compared to 3000 of timber. Processing 3000 grams of timber would have to take 4 days to make it as inefficient as gathering plain wood.

There is an lovely island with quite a few characters on right now, that has no wood but 4 places with timber. A way to make wood out of timber would at least boost that island alot.
