Driving locks - Duplicate

Postby Nggh » Mon Feb 19, 2007 1:30 pm

When I saw that it was possible to build buses and other big vehicles I've thought "wow, wouldn't it be cool to play a bus driver?"
Let's say my character somehow builds a bus (or more realistic: a mini-van) it would be a nightmare to be that bus driver. Since I don't want to lock my bus (so that people can enter it or leave it at any time) anyone can enter it and drive anywhere. And even worse - they can drag me off and then steal it.

Here's my suggestion: When you build (land) vehicles, let the current vehicle lock be replaced by a driving lock. The driving lock would require someone to have the special key to drive the vehicle, not to enter it.

What do you think? Would it be hard to implement?

A lock on the door shouldn't negate the possibility of having another one on the driving apparatus.

Of course not, but I think the "driving-lock" is more important.

However, this was suggested a year ago. Nothing has happened?
