Like-sized ships can dock? Duplicate Suggestion

It says in the wiki that a darter cannot dock to a darter. Upon further investigation, I found that no like-modeled ships can dock to each other. Is this an error in the wiki, or is it an intentional game design? If it's part of the game, I think it should be changed so that like-sized ships can dock to each other. There are a few ships that can't be docked to by anything, and I don't see that as good. Rafts and canoes, I can understand, but something as valuable as a darter?

Well its easy to tie two dinghies together... just not very easy to sail them, but its a good point.

Ship docking is all crazy but there are so many threads on this someone should create a sticky for ship suggestions on their own. grappling hooks, gangplanks, ropes etc. etc.

For what it's worht I think any boat should be able to dock to any boat.

I personally don't like it and agree with your suggestion. It has been argued that this would take away the one value of the darter but so what , some vehicles may become redundant - I personally don't believe that any part of Cantr should be inaccessable by design. . There have been many suggestionsmade in the past calling for grappling hooks and other complications which require new code - a change like this is just a few simple database entries .It is however up to RD to decide if they want this

Strictly speaking though this suggestion is a duplicate of Dinghy docks to Dinghy so I'm moving this to rejected suggestions.
