The OCD side of us all is screaming!!! (Project Degradation)
Ok, if your OCD, or just annoyed by having to scroll around alot, you want those projects no one wants to finish to disappear. Why can't projects degrade over time? Like the materials put into them slowly disappearing when no one is working on them? I understand why admins don't just allow you to cancel projects that already have materials in them. It makes sense, but that still doesn't stop unfinished projects from being annoying. I have a character who I just recently spawned who has to deal with repeats of the same project over and over again. He cancels as many of them as he can, but some of them already have been worked on. Thus the only way to get rid of them is to finish them yourself. It is a big pain. So couldn't we allow the percentage of those projects to degrade over time? What about buildings that someone never finished, and the people living there don't want to have it built because it is useless to them(or it has a name that displeases them). They constantly have to live with the fear that some moron will come into town and end up building it, and there town will be scarred forever! I am sorry but some names of buildings people start(or people build, but we aren't talking about degrading built buildings today) just don't fit, or are plain stupid. No one wants them built, but at the same time the project is always there. The materials put into the project and the percentage of completion of the project should go down in my opinion over time. If people reading this get seriously offended, this is more of a rant then a suggestion, so please be nice to my OCD self.
