Probably been suggested or even accepted before, but should get some more attention if it has:

When picking up resources, you see the amount of resources, but not the space you have left in your inventory. I suggest the message to be changed in someting like: The maximum amount you can take is 1553 (of the available 16000). or The maximum amount you can take is 153 (of the available 153)..

This was suggested before as part of another suggestion. The other part was implemented, so it's probably dropped of the radar and could do with a new thread like this.

Yes, and I hadn't bothered to start another thread like this.

I would find this quite handy, as was mentioned in the "Who am I whispering to?" thread. At least display how much we're carrying on the pick up screen so we can see it. Don't worry about it for objects, but for raw resources, it would be a godsend to know how much I can pick up.
