Changing gram requirements for sushi

Why when you go to make Sushi, can't you choose how much of the material you want to make? I don't have 200 grams of seaweed, but I do have 54 grams. I would like to use the materials I have, but I can't. Why should I have to make a large amount? Could you change this so that we could choose an amount to make for the proportions we have available to use?

We can do that.

Sushi is slowly being given a boost, but has unfortunately been a bit low in the food queue. Hopefully not too much longer now before it is really fixed.

There's another project that works the same way. I think it's grilling meat on a spit.
But I don't know if that's been changed or not. Unfortunately I can't check, none of my charries are anywhere near a spit.

Could I offer up a suggestion to do the same for Pancakes?
I just made my first batch (and added to the wiki) and was almost confused when I could not specify an amount. It was simply 200g wheat flour, and 150 grams of wood, which results in 200 grams of pancakes.
That particular character was planning on using up almost 4 kilos of wheat flour eventually, and this might take a while!

Yup on a spit or a firepit, dung or wood, you get one project size...

And I am content to leave it that way. Complex process or those involving more complex machines generally get projects that can be set to any size (this is where sushi falls), while simple projects on simple machines get set project sizes (fire pits, and spits mostly). Perhaps a more effecient project for cooking pancakes on a different machine (with variable output) is called for though.

Tell that to a starving character who is 5 grams short of enough meat to make food and can't seem to kill another animal...

I think pancakes are compleicated enough to deserve multiplicity. Very few people make them for some reason (cheap way to make food from wheat, but lets complain because we don't have carrots instead

).
As for cooking meat on the firepit, those will stay as they are. Here is a hint, though. Check out the fireplace and consider an investment.

Those are multiplyable.

Hmm I prefer to cook in the open air, maybe a barbeque can be added to the machines
