I have to agree with the goodness of location amnesia, yes. (And the badness of building amnesia. And the goodness of person amnesia.) It's a lot more realistic and let's explorers rename new lands (rather than being stuck with "Shorty Nazi" or some chinese name that doesn't even show correctly on some people's computers).
Though I can agree that Jos is generally better at naming places than the average Cantr player, "Shorty Nazi" notwithstanding.
