Seeing what type of dockable place

It would be vaguely useful if in the list of 'dockable places' next to the boat / harbour / town - there could be (as in the 'vehicles list) the grey, bracketed description of what type of boat it is (or if it is a harbour, landing stage or town...)

And I'd add the approximate direction as well (e.g. to the south south west etc ) ... thats if it doesn't show that already

Gonna toss this over to accepted suggestions as well? Just for book keeping.
This will help those at sea a bit too. great idea!

This suggestion is now ready to be implemeted
Docking Targets now display a description of what they are (i.e. type of vessel/building type or in the case of land , area type such as hills, grass, beach etc) as well as the dynamic name. They also display their direction relative to the character.
The code has been committed and will be rolled out in the next day or so.
Several other boat features have been addressed whilst this feature was written.
a) Docking is now automatically cancelled if the traget vessel becomes docked before completion. Previously a docking operation would complete even if the target had docked to land or another ship.
b) Land based docking targets (i.e. town/coaster harbour or landing stage) are valid docking targets for boats which undock from other boats . Previously they were not checked until the boat had physically moved
c) On ships at sea all vessels also at sea, within range, are displayed as visible vessels, whether or not they are valid docking targets. The range is the standard ship docking range. The dynamic name, type and relative direction are displayed
d) In towns which border lakes and/or sea all vessels at sea within range are displayed as visible vessels. The range is the same as standard ship docking range.

That's very helpful and neat. Think that could be added to trails for the landlubbers?
Sand Road to unknown location (south south east)
(Hills)
That only make sense and be extraordinarily useful.

It's been designed so that it can ... just waiting for the suggestion
(actually that has been mentioned before)
Road names are soon going to be removed so It would make sense implementing this when they are turned off

Just thought I'd point this out - it looks like someone left a stub-in laying around.
My character is on the shore of a dockable location. When he looks at the 'Location' page, he sees this entry under the animals icon...
Moku (north): Visible vessels
CANTR REPLACE NAME=page_desc_no_vessels_visible
