You mean the code is ready and waiting to be published? Because I see no signs of this issue being implemented. Nothing indicates the fuel left, nor how could you add it to the vehicle... Or just does it work on the fuel on the floor? That would be the best solution.

However, nobody who can switch it seem to remember about it.

Maybe, but I remember seeing intricate fuel consumption mechanics in the wiki. It's all indeed a bit mysterious.

How does the discussion around this advance behind the scenes?

Damn, for a moment I was like "Oh wow implemented" then I remembered the story. Can't it be moved to accepted or something? :S It's just as implemented as helicopters, basically.

I hope this will be implemented, as it has a future. :?
And the helicopter don't have one.

Bikes and other non-engine vehicles will be treasured more now :D

..or maybe it's just cars will become more valuable?

My money is on things that use fuel slowly not being used OR being something "for the rich", if you will.

Say it with me:

"Flintstone-mobile"

Love the idea, and they already have Flintstone-mobiles*

*Look at the Rickshaw, Tandem bike, Bike, Cart, Bike cart and so on.

Au contraire mon frere...
I do think the helicopter will eventually be in as well. Otherwise, why not just take out the motor? Besides it would be a lot like sailing on land... Not too difficult. Just needs time which the staff doesn't have. Also it's a little too new for the age in which everything else seems to be.
