A radio suggestion

It strikes me as extremely likely that someone in cantr will want to build more than one radio reciever in a room, and set them to different channels. Maybe even 201 recievers...
The point is, with even two recievers in the room, according to the Wiki description, you won't be able to tell which one you're recieving on. A bit of a problem for your listening post, I think. Since (I assume) one can look at a reciever and find out what it's current setting is, maybe the 'radio message' message could include the frequency that it was recieved on?

I don't know enough about IC radios yet, but if that isn't already built in, it's a very good idea. Or even a way to name radios so you can distinguish which it's coming from.
You hear a voice from Radio A say:"Who likes short shorts?"
You hear a voice from Radio B say:"We like short shorts!"
Or something like that.

However radios work, make them work this way as well. It's all well and good not to know who on the radio is speaking, but it's an entirely different matter to know which radio is speaking.
201 radios is a bit crazy, but hey, I'm not the one building them. And when there's enough radios out there, that room is going to be NOISY.
Dynamic radio naming would be great, but I'll settle for just some what to identify which radio that was.

Simplest implementation (I think): Have the radio message be something like the following:
4913-4: You hear "Engfeh wibble wankel" on a radio tuned to channel 17.
Not entirely realistic, but does away with the need for a separate visible identifying number on each radio.
EDIT: Hey, full circle! I sort of scanned the first post in this thread. Oopsy.
Alternatively, the in-game workaround for the problem that requires no programming changes: Building 201 radios? Why not 20301? One radio tuned to channel 1, two radios tuned to channel 2, and so on! Eminently impractical, but oh so much fun to think about.

Or better yet,
999-9: You hear radio -- channel 13 broadcast: "Come here Watson, I need you."

I concur. Jos, is this the way it is programmed? If not, then can it be this way?

It's not how it is programmed, but it shouldn't be too complicated to change ...
Moved to accepted ...

I know places with more then one radio. This implementation would be great or developing radio network.

Ok, so I guess this forum needs some cleaning :) I'll look for more forgotten suggestions, bring them to the first page :)
