0.5 % a day without resting sounds good, if with resting you gain 1-2 %.

I agree. :)

0.5% per day standing, sounds good to me, that's what.. 0.0625% per hour?

in terms of a year thats. 10%
good and slow but still useful if you're char is that slow paced

not sure how hard things are to program but an idea, just like tiredness decreases your speed at working, strength in dragging and fighting, maybe it can also be used as a factor, a bit tired, a bit slower healing,
working on a project when the healing is calculated, half the healing, ;)

Resting in a bed ==> faster healing.

I am part of the 8%. Why?

I haven't had a problem finding healing foods.

I have had charters who required a lot of effort to try to obtain healing foods due to living in wild areas which drove goal orientated activity, trade and a sense of achievement in just staying alive. (slow natural healing would not have effected that)

I can see an argument for relieving the tedium of bothering to heal minor wounds, Some of my chars have been lightly wounded without me even noticing it.

Mostly I am a firm believer in struggling against adversity, and having a sense of triumph available to players who survive against the odds.

If I read there are lots of charters who die due to wounds despite their efforts, then I'll reconsider my position.

Until then, is this a real problem that we need to devote limited programming time towards?

Resting giving healing as well as relieving tiredness +1.

Natural healing could help balance only being able to heal a certain amount per day through healing food if that's ever implemented.

I would actually prefer natural healing to only happen when resting and it makes sense that the amount healed would be on a scale similar to how different types of furniture affect tiredness. Any healing that occurs while still going about your business and working should be very minor. I'm not completely against that idea since wounds will heal over time but it should take a long time.

^ That is my vote. I don't like the option of yes or no.

Don't know where best to suggest this... bandages... Make them a consumable or simply a role play clothing... one for each part of the body...
