Being able to change building names would be nice....And roads and such.
"No, we don't call it king Coal's hall anymore. It is now Revolution Hall."

I have a suggestion about this issue: Attaching multiple notes to buildings and/or vehicles.
I'm hopping for building and vehicle names to disappear some day just like town names did not long ago. And a good way to identify them would be attaching notes to them. Not just a single note, but multiple notes like you do on the ground. That would also be helpfull for owners to post price lists, merchandising, notices and other stuff without making the town center a mess!
These notes could be reached in a new building/vehicle details panel, which could be reached by a new button in the buildings and vehicle listing.
Optionally, there could be added information about how many notes are attached to a building in the buildings and vehicle listing to avoid you from having to look at every single building searching for posted notes.
Oh, and messages would appear in the events window just like they do when you drop or pick up a note.
- "You see a man in his twenties attaching a note to Oncle's Store."
or
- "You see a man in his twenties detaching a note from Oncle's Store."
And vandalism would be allowed the same way it is over notes on the ground.
I believe this is simple, flexible and realistic. About being easy to implement or not, I'm not abble to comment yet, but I suppose it's fairly easy.

By the way, my suggestion is also a counter-suggestion to post "VANDALISM... or just a painting...... who knows?" (

Neat idea in principle. However, won't looking for these notes be a PITA, if you're not quite sure which building they are on?
/Hellzon - not sure.

Should I copy my "Attaching notes to buildings" suggestion to a new post?

I would, it's a different suggestion. Although I think something like that has been suggested before?
