I'm not sure how the progress in clothes is going but how about this for a basic start...

A button or link of the chracter description page.
A simplitic representative of a full body of a man or women.
The ones you see on restrooms.
Clothes would be "cut out" shapes overlaid on this picture.

It's a start...

it could also represent what you are holding in your hands, like a sword or shield, and perhaps show if you have a pack or pouch, although not whats in it, if you are lookin at someone....

been thinkin alot today huh?

My chracters are being bored to death today waiting on things to unfold and get done and I didn't want to have to go into antoher round of silly stuff.

It would be cool if the inventory was formed like the classical RPGs with slots where you could put different items.
