Improve the People tab!

More queries vs fewer page loads (though I wouldn't expect it to save a significant amount of page loads, but who knows). Usefulness aside, I suppose it comes down to whether the DB or the web server is taxed more.

I would ask if there's a way to cache it, but I suppose that's just ratcheting up the implementation headache.

I'm in favour of everything. Make it easier for me please.

So, is there any reasons to not put information that a char is hungry in people tab? I mean technical reason.

I support RedQueen.exe's suggestion entirely. I'm all for easy and usable. I can't have too many leaders as the clicking for things like that takes so much time and there is no time left for role play. I think it will do the opposite of Mellow Yell's coment. It will encourage more good leadership and less by the most awake and crappy. Sure sleepy leaders are a problem, but this won't change that.

Hungry will be one I often look for and it's sooo much work. I can't see a reason why not.

Just loading my player page fires off 154 MySQL queries (for some very strange reason), I hardly think a few more would make any difference.

I'd really like to see starving, though i'd also like to see an event that my character is starving now. I sorta like the idea of seeing who is and isn't working.

Seems some small icons to the right of a character's name could be utilized without too much clutter. A hammer icon for working. A frown for starving. A knife or sword for wounded. Make them half the size of the interactive icons.

That would be the most awesomest change that could ever be made in this game. A huge hands up for this one! Please! We need this now! So many starving people, I can't keep up.

Bump? Seriously, what more do you need to accept this?

(With slight problems) I moved this to accepted suggestions. I'm creating a development task for it too.

Hello, is there anybody skillfull enough to be able to create tiny (16x16px would be best) icons for the following states: hungry, wounded, working? It's needed to proceed with that suggestion.
It's not absolutely necessary to stick to that template or use any certain style, but Cantr-like buttons will be most welcomed.

Generally they should be of the same size and (basic) color of the point at animal button on the location page.

The last icon is a scaled down and sharpened version of the manufacturing icon. The (starvation) frowny I reverse engineered myself. Doesn't look too good in this size though.

I posted two versions of the blood drop icon since I don't know which one looks better. I could provide a green drop, too, but since it's supposed to be a warning, red seems appropriate.

I like both blood drops. Maybe we could use the first one for injuries under 50% and the second one for injuries over 50%. Or am I overcomplicating things there?
