Small stone room
It would be nice if we could have smaller stone rooms similar in size to the shack or marble alcove that, like the alcove, can't be built in town centers.
Mostly, I want my characters to be able to have a separate room for a bathtub without it being unreasonably large.

Re: Small stone room
keeping the extension/alcove ratio from marble buildings I came up with something like this:
Small stone room
Time: 8 day(s)
Materials: 2.000 grams of stone
Tools: iron, bronze or wooden trowel
Location: building or room, hall, stone extension
Capacity:
People: 4
Weight: 600.000 grams

Re: Small stone room
I think buildings are definitely something that need to be balanced. Some materials have more choices of buildings/rooms than others with no real good reason that I am aware of. If I recall correctly marble and brick have the most options at 4 each while stone and wood have 2 choices each.

agreed.
i'm also in favor of small stone rooms. it'd be nice to have a smaller option that's not a gigantic extension. i, for one, don't need to be able to fit ten people in my bathroom and a room like this would really work out for a char or two of mine that are fans of small spaces.

Re: Small stone room
So...any word on this? I think Miri's numbers would work, though the amount of stone could be increased by another thousand or two. It wouldn't even be all that strange to me if it took half as much stone as an extension but had a sixth of the capacity. I just feel like it would be useful mostly for RP purposes and Cantr can always use more things like that.

Re: Small stone room
The values look good. I would call it stone alcove though to keep it consistent.

I hate to bump threads because it feels obnoxious, but...how 'bout that stone alcove?

Oh, a stone alcove!
+1
How would we go about implementing that?
Ok, enough of the de ja vu(eueiauex or however the French spell it). This should be implemented asap.

Apparently just by enabling it. Someone has been so kind as to add it to the database for approval already.
Implemented and thanks for the bump.
