Cantr II Discussion Forum

i dont know how much it takes to load up the main page cantr.net, but it sees now that the forum isnt updated on it, and the wiki isnt updated on it, that it might be time to revert the page to the way it was before the updates were there.

this does two things, first it lessens the load a tiny bit for loading.
second, it removes the impression that things are completly static. just looking at the main page, where it says recent forum post and shows nothing, makes it look like nothing at all is happening.

Agreed. Seems a small thing to us regulars, but might be very important actually for "image" in eyes of new and potential players.

Oh, you're quite right. I think the list of recent activity is quite important, to look active, but since we have now the forum and wiki on a different server from the main game, they are empty, and inactivity looks worse than nothing, of course ... Thanks for reminding.

Moved to accepted, with the understanding that we will first try to fix the activity reports on forum/wiki and if that does not succeed, remove it from the page.

of course showing the updates are important, and I wasnt aware if it was no longer working code or if it had to do with the server move. If it works, great.
