It was at the very bottom of the page right after you click on a character to view events.

I don't like the hover message. It doesn't show up in my firefox settings. The way buildings are displayed with additional lines for additional signs would be good enough for me. No need for this fancy hovering stuff.

Try refresh your browser cache. Besides it works also in the way you described - additional lines on people page.

Indeed it does. I was too soon to judge.

<CANTR CHARDESC> does not work though.

I think the texts that show up in the character list should be light blue like the signs. And I'd be interested in knowing what the hover thing looks like but I'm not going to use Internet Explorer. Yahoo news has some yellow info box things in there, if they can make them work on Firefox then it should be possible here too, right? Unless it's a different system.

They work in Firefox. Firefox is all I use on my personal comp. You just need to clear your cache.

Seko. This is what the mouse over looks like. Click image for full size.

On a little side note.... is it okay to use that new thingy to label people as "good guy", "okay I guess", "Will meet my close friend mr. Battle Axe as soon as I get them on a road with no witnesses" and so on?
Just joking, though I did use it in such a way for a thief... anyways, I just gotta say... after playing around with it a bit for descriptions, I'm liking it more and more.
Dangit.... now there's a third color to get addicted to....

Thieves? One of my character simply names them "dead".
Orange goes good with green.

I really do like this update.
Event page is now alot shorter.

I do agree with Seko that the extended descritions on the people page should be light blue like it is for buildings and vehicles.

The other thing that hasn't been mentioned yet (as far as I can see) is that the new feature needs javascript for the popup to work. If you're running noscript and haven't allowed scripts from cantr.net, or if you have javascript off entirely, you won't get the popup when hovering.

That is correct, JavaScript is required. There's no other way for pop ups.

Same with the manufacturing menus - all Java fanciness.

I like the little Java additions - and I think they've been done sensibly - you don't need Java for anything - just added prettiness. As long as it's kept that way: only used for added gimmicks, never as a core requirement, all is good by me...

Ahem, JavaScript and Java are two different things. XD Anyway, clearing cache helped, thanks for the tip. It looks good.
