Votes are generally ignored in RD and ProgD, to be honest. We implement things that are good for the game, not necessarily popular. How lucky are we that this is both popular and immensely useful. It would have probably been accepted without any votes, it just requires some programming and we only have one dedicated programmer. Feel free to apply if you feel you might be able to contribute - it's fun!

It doesn't seem to be working for me. I enabled the option, but didn't get reports for the last two days, and they were still at the bottom of the page listed as buttons to send them.

They get sent three days late. If they got sent immediately, you might not have had the chance to name people you just met. So the report would be full of men and woman in their twenties.

I think it was in the announcement, but it wouldn't hurt to add it to the menu as well.

Yeah, can't really rely on people reading announcements to see how things work, especially when it becomes an older feature.
