Kinda back on topic here, what would be even nicer than having little boats, and boarding, and all that stuff, would be the ability to dismantle the smaller boats, and carry them across land...

maybe make it into a grab project where by people can group up to drag a boat over land.or even drag smaller boat's out of the water so they can't just be jumped into and stolen.

This is supported.

You take the wood you need to build the boat across land and build it.

but then not only do you have to build a whole new boat, but you need to collect all the materials for one, and things like that....plus what about the sentimental value of your old boat?

Yeah, you COULD do a TNO and make boats in every body of water you see, but that's not easy at all kthx.

That would be the strangest and most niche audience show ever. What would it be? Green screenshots and people saying what their characters did? Thrilling to say the least.

Heh, it would have to be on late at night, especially with the massacres. But seeing all my chars on Sci-Fi would be cool.. hardly likely but cool, given me something to dream about now..

At one time a long time ago someone suggested canals to get from a lake to a sea, like a special project that could be initiated like a road improvement but only in places that bordered both a lake and a sea. That is still my favorite solution to the lake/sea thing. But some boats should be able to just be moved. A longboat isn't really that big, one person can carry all the wood needed to make one, so it shouldn't take but a couple people to dragg one over the ground, same with the dugout which is half the size of the longboat, and the darter which isn't much bigger. Basically, if a boat doesn't require more materials then what a char can carry then it should be able to be moved over dry land.

You see a man in his twenties drop longboat.
You see a man in his twenties entering FURYFIST PEOPLEKILLER

(sorry, just had to rip on the grandiose names some boats seem to have)

Mine are usually pretty tame...some are deceptively innocuous

One I didn't have a choice about.

I'm taking name submissions for my new raker, though.
