That's it?! :( I am very disappointed in you. I had hoped it would be at LEAST a little more. *sigh*

No worries, Pie. There's nothing in the intervening parts of the forest I wanted to introduce. After a while of players passing through the same areas, those areas get tiring and I don't have much to say about them anymore. The forest is particularly annoying because its a fairly boring place to be. Anyways, I'll allow it this time, but let's not make a habit out of it. I think I even mentioned to Leo at some point that I was skipping over all the intervening parts of the forest, knowing that he wanted to go to the village.

A gamemaster suggestion: How about having events happen even out of our character's views, like a thief sneaking about the forest, or two close civilizations in a feud just few miles from us? This could really emphasize the reality of the in-game world, wouldn't it? Witness could report of such events and create a hook for our characters.

Yeah, you have been making such events, like the plauge upon the humans, but you should make more of those to make the world more alive. As long as you're organized, I think it wouldn't be a problem.

But it would be sort of like a CRB for our characters to know that and want to get there.

We've become indistinguishable from our characters now? 8)

LOL, oops... I've slipped into doing that before, but I always caught myself before posting. Part of the reason is that AoM's name is so similar to his character's name.

Yes well... that's just pure coincidence. It's not like I was REALLY lazy with my character name. No. A lot of serious thought went into it... 8)

Since Tek and Ao's storyline has been so very diverged from the others, I've lost track of what's going on as a player with everyone else. What's been happening back up in the north? What's this plague I'm hearing about?

I don't keep track because it could lead to a CRB. It feels weird, saying CRB when it's not Cantr...

I'm basically out till dawn, I guess.

The plague was put upon the village of the Pink Ones by Ilosep as retribution for the death of Vex/Xev and their attack on the forest. Fortunately the plague is specific to the Pink Ones, as of course it was tailor-made for the purposes of Justice. Pie's character, Ithicus, is running to the temple to try and get Ilosep to countermand the plague, for some reason I have yet to figure out. Guess he feels sorry for them :) Funny that a mere mortal thinks he can administer justice better than the God of Justice...

I've "unlocked" a few more locations up north, as people have been exploring a bit more, rather than wandering back and forth between the few locations around the Muck Pond. It was very hard to keep the game interesting when people stuck around in the same locations.
