Andrik could only shake its head. It kept its erect stance as it strides off to the side of the path, crosses its arms, and observes the happenings of where it is now. Nothing could really be read from its unmoving face as it then looks down towards the ground, not paying any attention to the two.

"Annoyingly silent, that one." Deimos tells Omura. Despite the rocky start, Deimos is beginning to take a liking to the thing.
"Alright, I'm going to find out what's going on here." Deimos says, and walks towards one of the houses.
If the door is locked, he'll try to force it.
If not, he'll open the door and ask about the statue, and about the town leaders, and about why everyone's in hiding.
If they run away he'll Mind Myst one, find some way to tie him up, and question him when he regains his senses.

*he then writes in the ground "well my name is ithicus." and he turnes to smile at Lene, and then starts walking twords the mountain.

"I don't like that thing at all. It scares me, I feel like he is always staring at me with that cold, emotionless gaze." She attempts to hide behind Deimos holding onto him for protection.

"Don't worry, if he tries to harm either of us I can render him utterly harmless. Let go of me." Deimos says, somewhat irritated, and tries to shake Omura off.

At first Omura holds on tighter, but eventually relinquishes her grip. "I'm sorry. Don't be angry at me, I wasn't trying to take anything from you, I'm just scared. Why are these people hiding like this? Perhaps we should just leave."

(Global statement)
The moon had now disappeared from the sky, and morning was rapidly approaching, though it was still twilight.
Meanwhile, on the moon, the sun continued to beat down on Ao and Tek. The sky didn't seem to change much here.
(For 3shy)
Realizing that the strange one was not going to devour him, and even seemed a bit friendly, the robed Pink One crawled out from beneath the table, dusted himself off, and knelt before Erake, his eyes looking up with reverence. Erake could not tell whether he was more impressed by her, or by the glowing ball hanging from her neck.
"Terniak gottarrin..." he said, looking for some sign that she understood the language. He looked frustratedly at her as he realized the words meant nothing to her. "Ugosa illostay?" he said, in what seemed to be yet another language she couldn't understand. "Lifta dowinnibber?"
(For Nalaris, swymir, and Leo)
Deimos struggled with one of the doors but found it quickly gave way to his strength. The metal latch snapped off the door as he forced it open. A man, a woman, and three children looked up in fear at his imposing figure, but made no attempt at communication. As he asked his questions, the people looked up at him uncomprehending. The man uttered something in a language Deimos couldn't understand.
(For Pie)
As Ithicus made his way through the valley, he thought he saw some movement up ahead, amongst a pile of rocks. Not far ahead, just past the pile of rocks, was the entrance to a cave.
(For AoM and Tek)
The vehicle rumbled down the ramp. It took a long time to get to the bottom, as the crater was quite deep and wide, and the ramp had a very gentle incline. At length, they reached the bottom of the crater. The sides the crater rose imposingly all around them. From here, they could make out the shape of the glittering central object a bit better, though they were no closer to it now. There was less glare from this angle, and they could make out a kind of pyramid, apparently constructed of crystal, not unlike the statue in the dome. There did not seem to be any obstructions between them and the pyramid, though much like the rest of the landscape there was no clear "road" leading anywhere. The vehicle, with its great treads, was obviously built for this terrain. Here, at the bottom of the crater, it was less dusty and more rocky.

Ao nods with approval at the terrain. This was not so different from the earthen valleys... it was easy to see why the two goddesses were sisters.
"I'm going to head for that pyramid," he mindspeaks to Tek, "There's nothing else to head for really, and I'm sure we'll find someone there who can direct us to Xunis, if not the goddess herself."

"That sounds good to me" Tek replied. He continued his vigilant watch through the canopy of the vehicle, scanning the horizon for anything unusual as it trundled along.

"They're probably just asleep. Look how dark it is. I know you weren't trying to steal anything, I just don't like to be held in particular, nothing against you." Deimos says to Omura, then, after breaking down the door, "Great, a foreign language. Maybe we can find a translator?" He walks outside and yells "Can anyone understand me?!?"

Omura stares at the trembling people and frowns. She speaks to Deimos "I don't know, they look scared to me. Probably scared of you the way you barged in like that. Did you even try knocking? Maybe we should just go. Whether these people are afraid of us or something else we shouldn't be here". She looks over at the frightened people and reaches into her pocket pulling out the Groff Deimos wouldn't accept. She extends her arm offering the Groff to the people. "Don't be afraid of us. Here. Take this. I don't want to hurt you."

Erake stared at the little one, watching it try to speak to her. She laughed and shook her head. "What are you saying? I can't understand you..." Becoming a little impatient, she again pointed out towards the pile of burnt corpses. Speaking slowly, she watched the little one. "What happened there?"

(Global statement)
The early-morning sun peeked over the horizon, filling the land with light. A few wispy clouds drifted across the morning sky. Meanwhile, on the moon, the sun remained ever watchful at the same point in the sky.
(For AoM and Tek)
The great machine rumbled on, the crystal pyramid growing large as they approached. It seemed to be much bigger than they had reckoned from the distance. The crystal was similar-looking to what the statue had been composed of, except swirls of light danced within, giving it a beautiful yet eerie quality. As the vehicle approached, they saw a tall triangular doorway set into one of the faces of the pyramid. The doorway angled inwards, and was too narrow for the vehicle to go through.
There did not appear to be anyone around. They were now close enough to get out and walk.
(For Nalaris, swymir, and Leo)
The people looked hesitantly at the offering. A young woman advanced forward and accepted the offering, her eyes lighting up at the sight of the Groff. She seemed to understand the intention of Omura's action, though it was unlikely she could understand the language. The woman bowed graciously, her eyes remaining pointed towards the floor. The others followed suit.
(For Pie)
Ithicus entered the cave while Lene hung back, apparently frightened. The cave was rather dark but Ithicus could detect an acrid smell. A dull green light emanated from another chamber some distance ahead.
(For 3shy)
The robed man looked out the door towards the central bonfire. He looked back at Erake, apparently having figured out from her gestures what she was trying to say. He explained in his alien language, making gestures to help explain. The gestures seemed to indicate that something bad had come from the sky and made people die, so they had to be burned.
Realizing Erake and (by proxy) the other creatures were not intending to hurt anyone, the man wandered out into the central area of the town. He looked sullenly at the empty town square and the heap of bodies. Suddenly he began shouting something in his alien tongue. Doors creaked open and people peeked out cautiously. It was unclear why the robed man was shouting.
