STASIS BEGINNING. PLEASE RETURN TO STASIS CHAMBERS.

The crew, having done essentially nothing but look at each other nervously for several days, is called to return to stasis. The Captain is gone. The Commander is dead. The SWYMIR unit-- which could have overridden the system to delay stasis for another day-- is deactivated. The whole mission seems to be going to hell in a glorious, fiery basket

No one speaks as they return to their chambers. Some haven't spoken the entire trip. The killer-- or killers-- is it a silent one? A lurking dealer of death, watching, and laughing at them all?

For tonight, they do not, cannot know. All they know is that they haven't stopped the last killer, not in time, not this time....

Vampires, coordinate and send me your victim.
Hacker, send me your investigation.
Lock Override, send me your protectee.

I knew this was going to happen. I had to push people along every other day.

So... um... how long does this stasis last?

ATTENTION. STARDATE 18.7.2505. WAKE CYCLE BEGIN. ALL CREW REPORT TO STATIONS. STASIS CYCLE WILL RE-COMMENCE IN SEVEN DAYS, AT 25.7.2505.

The crew wakes from stasis, already nervous about what the morning will bring. All non-essential tasks have been set aside during Wake Cycles now. The Mission is almost a distant dream at this point-- the crew just hopes to stay alive!

Each member of the crew checks in quickly with the non-AI computer. All except one. This time, the crew doesn't send just two members to investigate, but rather the whole senior staff. They find the crewmember's quarters in disarray, the stasis chamber broken open, and streaks of blood leading into the corridor, but the missing officer is nowhere to be found. A thorough search of the ship reveals nothing-- not even a body. Just the streaks of blood, the thrashed quarters...

Solemnly, the crew return to the bridge, lost in thought over the loss of Lt. Nick.

Remaining crew roster:

Lt. Shmeashter - (Lieutenant) Stellar Navigator
Mr. Floyd - (Specialist) Jumpdrive Technician
Dr. Smart - (Doctor) Xenobiologist
Dr. Schme - (Doctor) Linguist
Dr. Sparkle - (Doctor) Psychologist
Dr. Meisora - (Doctor) Physicist
Master Mikki - Master Chef and Morale Officer (also holds an Ensign rank in the Service)

MOD DECISION: Lt. Shmeashter, Dr. Smart, and Mr. Floyd haven't spoken publicly in several weeks. If the game comes down to inactive players and active vampires, I will declare it over, as the vampires can have no trouble picking off sleepwalkers. However, as long as there's at least one active non-vampire participating, sleepers "count" in terms of outnumbering the vampires. If any sleeper wakes up and participates publicly, I will not consider them to be sleeping any more. Also, I will not comment on private participation-- obviously, if a public sleeper is a vampire, I do not consider them inactive.

Well... it's down to us now. Find anything new, Mikki?

*she sighs* Out of everyone that is still alive *she takes a deep breath*

Lt. Shmeashter, Dr. Schme, Dr. Sparkle are the ones that I know to be innocent..

That leaves Mr. Floyd, Dr. Smart, Dr. Meisora.. Those are the ones that we have to think about.. Everyone else is dead..

*she sighs* Now we could just vote on one of the sleepers... Then I could investigate one of the others.. But that is just an idea.. What do you think we should do?

And yes, what about me? I had thought that you were going to check me last stasis period, Mikki?

I said I might. I checked Sparkle instead.. *she looks around* Well like I said.. We could vote on one of the sleepers, I check one of the two left and then either I will find someone to be innocent, or will find them to be guilty.. Either way, we should pick one of the sleepers.. That is just my idea.. *she shrugs* You can go with me on this or not..

Well normally, I'd say no, but we're running out of options. We messed up by not voting last time... Who'd you have in mind, Mikki?

I think you should have checked someone else Mikki. Why would I agree with you and do...well it doesn't matter now. I can sort of see your reasoning behind it.

Anyways...that leaves us with who to decide on next...hmm...maybe its Mr. Floyd or maybe Dr. Meisora here was bluffing.
