The storm passing and dawn coming the people of Salem slowly come out of their homes only to find a gruesome sight in their town square. Sprawled out in the center of the symbol burned into the ground lay the lifeless body of Surly Cantrian, the governer of Salam. His body drained and fallen against the bones he stares wide eyed to the peaceful sky. His shirt ripped open and knife carvings on his chest making out more strange symbols.

The times have become dark. And now they must fight to stay alive as who knows who among them is doing such grissly task.

Hums to himself as he get up early in order to finish the work he didn't get done because of sleeping most of the day before

Lays eyes on Surly in the centre of the square and stands still, he looks around and sees the square emtpy, so starts to knowck on doors

Wake up people... Looks like there might be a bigger problem than we thought...

*with a hangover, she walks out the door with her hand on her head* I haven't felt this bad in awhile. I haven't had a drink since yesterday and I don't know if I can have another.. Uggg.. *she tries to open her eyes* Who Knocked on the door and why?

It was me mikki, look points to the centre of the town square It seems like we've got more to chew over than before...

*she squints her eyes not being able to see anything besides something in the square, her vision not being the best at the moment* I am sorry Farmer I see something but I can't seem to make it out.. What is over there? Is there a body over there? Is that what I am seeing? *afraid of the answer she looks over at Farmer waiting patiently but not wanting to hear it*

She gets out after hearing a knock on her door

Good morning Farmer, G'morning mikki... Her eyes catch the horrific scene of Surly's body

Our morning does not seem to be so good, does it?

She goes over to Surly's body to check the symbols on his body without touching it

What are these weird symbols? Any idea?

*looks at the body of the governor* (not governer, btw)

I no longer believe this is a stupid prank by the town drunk. This is something much more... sinister now.

Will someone please answer the question? All I see is a blur. My head hurts and I cant see what is out there.. Anyone want to tell me?

walks to the town square and listens to Mikki

Well it seems someone murdered Surly and mutilized his body.

nervously opens his door at the knock and peers out cautiously, glancing around

Somebody knocked?

hearing no response he steps out of his house very slowly takes an overview of the square and freezes when he sees body of Surly... his eyes widen with fear and he rushes over to where everyone is and demanded
When did this happen?

She hears the knocking and some people can hear her respond from inside

Yes Lord? I hear you. It is I, Sparkle who seeks your help...

After she jumps out of her meditation trance she realizes the knocking came from someone else. She gets up and opens the door.

Knock and the door shall be opened unto you my child. Who wishes to enter?

Turns her head at the source of sound and notices Sparkle

Sparkle, will you come out here a moment, please?

Take a look at this... She nods at Surly's body

Cheery whistling can be heard floating over the rooftops. After a while, the sound of chopping wood again punctuates the dreary shock of the morning.

he strolls in to the square, whisteling a happy tune

he sees Surlys body and stops in his tracks. His face turns pale as a sheet as he makes a sign to ward of evil
