It's not cheating....It's research...using the ever available internet as a tool. :D Not that I've cheated. Bohemian Rhapsody is one of my Karaoke songs.

Start again.

Lyric:
We sleep by the ever bright hole in the door
Eat in the corner, talk to the floor
cheating the spiders who come to say please
politely they bend at the knees.

OK.

Either there is no interest at all in this, or the music I picked was way too obscure. It was from "A Passion Play" by Jethro Tull.

I'll try one more, much easier. If it stays dead, so will I.

Lyric:
Trust I seek, and I find in you.
Every day for us something new.
Open mind for a different view,

Metallica, Nothing else matters.

New one:
Did you see the frightened ones?
Did you hear the falling bombs?
Did you ever wonder why we had to run for shelter when the
promise of a brave new world unfurled beneath a clear blue
sky?

Did you see the frightened ones?
Did you hear the falling bombs?
The flames are all gone, but the pain lingers on

And nickel, neodymium, neptunium, germanium,

Tom Lehrer, "The Elements"

Now today is tomorrow, and tomorrow today,
And yesterday is weaving in and out,
And the fluffy white lines, that the airplanes leave behind,
are drifting right in front of the waning of the moon.
He is handling the money, he is serving the food,
He knows about your party, he is calling you "dude".

"We're sold on vanity but that's so see through
Take your body to the floor, your disco needs you
From Soho to Singapore, from the mainland to the shore

So lets dance through all our fears
War is over for a bit, you're a slave to the rhythm to your heart
You're a lonely heart"

Up, down, turn around
Please don't let me hit the ground
Tonight I think I'll walk alone
I'll find my soul as I go home.

Known for the fiddle players, beer, and our keg price.
Known for Alexander Keith's and the donair,
Home of the mooseheads but I don't really go there..
We pay a buck for a litre of gas *and*
Smokes cost 10 dollars a pack *damn..*

Classified - The Maritimes

You said it in another thread ^^;;

You were caught on the crossfire of childhood and stardom,
blown on the steel breeze.
Come on you target for faraway laughter,
come on you stranger, you legend, you martyr, and shine!

Shine on you crazy diamond, Pink Floyd.

Sweet confetti-eyed, looking for a savior
Finding it hard to break the chain
Nothing ventured, nothing gained

I'm sure you've heard it all before
But you never really had a doubt
