The rules are that the request can be anything -- and the point is that what anybody does is their own responsibility, i.e. they have to suffer any consequences, otherwise there's no point to the game. Someone could put something really stupid like "kill yourself" if they wanted to halt the topic, but hopefully that won't happen.
