To calculate the force of gravitational attraction between any two objects, the following formula may be used:

F = (m1 * m2) / d^2

Where F is proportional to the force of attraction, m1 is the mass of the first object, m2 is the mass of the second object, and d is the distance between the two objects.

However, for reasons unknown to scientists, a different relationship seems to apply when one of the objects involved is your body:

F = (m1 * m2) / d^3

Leading quantum physicists are working around the clock to try and find an explanation for this, but as yet it is still a mystery.

I'm probably wrong but whatever..

doesn't that mean F is even less when the x in d^x is even higher? >__>

Yes, thus meaning that the mass of her body is higher. LRN2THINK!

Since when is distance = body mass?

They're not proportional to each other, but since gravity acts on her body to the same degree that it does on other objects, i.e. she does not float away from the earth, her mass must be higher in order to compensate.

ok. I don't get it so you're a nerd.

It's general physics!

@Joo, I thought the force was the square root of that, though. I might be thinking of something else. It's been a while since I had physics.

(haha, I @joo'd. What would be the polite response to that?)

No, but the result does have to be multiplied by G to get it in the correct units.

I remember G, but what the hell am I thinking about square roots? Oh, wait... haha, I think that when I was picturing it in my head, I turned the parenthesis around the equation after G into a square root sign...

It was bad enough when it was an insult on its on. Now there's a whole page dedicated to the formula of my gravitation pull. Well done. Assholes. Lol.

LMAO. Thanks. Not our fault your gravitational pull is so vast it needs an entire page. :wink:
