Create a Civ

Just an idea. This will be set in the world of Cantr. We each post a few sentences adding to the town named "Cantria." We'll just keep going like that until I decide we stop and we see what kind of place we come up with.
I'll start.
Cantria is run by a polygamist female with two husbands. The Queen controls everything, while the two husbands control two seperate sections.
Then you post something branching off of that and/or a comment relating to a totally different subject like some of the people there or history.

The town has five raw resources, one of which is the mysterious Opal. Although the queen has found no use for this beautiful material, she believes it to be precious, and refuses to allow other towns to collect any of it.

Their are a numberr of large companies operating in the town and are quite profitable under the queens benevolent rule.

There is an island four days sail by raker away, which houses an thriving society of pirates.

Their are rebel elements that wish to dethrone the queen and install a republic where all are equal.

(Wow such negative add-ons to the story. Why is conflict such an attraction. Also, so early, we haven't even finished describing more of the basic parts of this town called Cantria.)
The town of Cantria is landlocked, and only has one road, which leads to the town of Cantria Beach.

The town has a large cult of sun worshipers within. All who worship the sun god Yen-Om

They call themselves the "Flordiaians". They often get kidnapped by the pirates and work as serving wrenches at their taverns.

There is a money system used by the entire island. The money system is based in Cantria. The Queen is the main attraction in the town bordello. (xD)
(Yeah, we should describe the environment and stuff first.)
