OOC: I use paint too... you just have to spend a bit of time on them... and know about paint's extra features like the colour replace. By the way, I didn't know about the brush size change thingy, Seko. Thanks for that.

I'll post my pic soon

ooc: I'm using Paint.NET. I really love some of the additional functions.

OOC: Is that a free program? I was thinking that maybe you were using Flash, clearly vector graphics, could've been Freehand as well but I think that doesn't support lines, only closed shapes.

OOC: Yes, it's free, but it's not operating with vector graphics. It's basically an extended version of paint. (Including multiple layers and transparency effects :D )

Sensing deceit, the lich creates a shield around himself to protect from the lime...

OOC: I just think there's nothing quite like the rustic, simple experience of pixel-drawing. If I wanted to use layers and transprency, I'd open up Photoshop (which I use for scaling and compressing my masterpieces 8) ). Here are some other things that can be done in paint:

- Click just below the 8x zoom button to unlock 10x zoom
- Click to the right of the 1-pixel brush button to unlock a special brush which I apparently don't have enough memory to use
- When dragging a selection, shift-click once on it to "stamp" it down and keep it selected
- To scale the selection, use CTRL and Plus or Minus (also works for current brush, eraser, airbrush or pencil)
- When drawing with a brush, roll the mouse wheel to "extrude" from the current point towards the bottom-left corner of the screen
- Shift-drag the selection to leave a trail
- Right click with the eraser tool to replace the foreground colour with the background colour
