Because a Banana tree is not a tree - It's a plant which looks like a tree

They're a herbacious plant, ain't they?
Wiki check says yes. Though I can't spell. It's herbaceous

I could name several: lingonberry, cloudberry, raspberry, strawberry, blueberry
Name three animals that hibernate during the winter.

None of those are berrys (Though I had to look up lingonberry to check but as its a type of cranberry its not a berry either)

Are there really true berries that would be called a berry? (Edit: I checked, gooseberry was.) And I think bears sleep instead of hibernating.

True berries: tomato, grape, plantain, avocado, persimmon, eggplant, guava, chili pepper.
Animals that hibernate during the winter: bats, Hedgehog, rattlesnakes.

I think Gooseberry is the only True berry with berry in it

I'm using the botanical definition: True berries are a simple fruit having seeds and edible pulp produced from a single ovary.
But the word berry also is used in common identification: small, round or semi-oblong, usually brightly colored, sweet or sour fruit desirable in a healthy diet.
