If my memory serves me, the answer is 2, though they weren't actually blackrocks either, just newspawns who happened to be unlucky enough to spawn within a year before the K isle invasion.

Zoe the Beard built the markers herself. She didn't seem like she's planning to die any time soon, which was a little bit disappointing, my character could've "inherited" her stuff.
