Ok people, I am going to be away most of the weekend, so I may not write many responses until after the weekend. Consider it a break. And just to keep things simple, I'm going to ask that you guys only do one response to my last relevant post. I had a bit of a headache last time I went away and came back. I know it's boring waiting around for me... but in the meantime you can chat here in the OOC topic. I will try to slip in some quick responses over the course of the weekend. Again, please limit yourselves to just one response per my post.

Not to belabour the point, but I just wanted to make sure everyone was clear on the rules for objects. They are considered a part of the landscape, and as a result it is my job to introduce them. Now, that doesn't mean that all objects will be announced immediately upon enterring an area. If you say that your character goes to inspect something closer, or that sort of thing, I *may* reveal an object there. For instance, Audirda went to look at the artefacts around the garden, and I revealed an object of interest. Please do not introduce your own objects, unless it is reasonable to suppose that it is something that might be found in nature there. For instance, Audirda made a net out seaweed, which was reasonable since she was near an undersea garden. If there are trees nearby, you are allowed to break off branches and such. In a rocky area you can pick up rocks even if I don't specifically mention them. What I am trying to avoid is players making up special objects. My apologies to Varrius if it seems like I'm picking on him, but I just wanted to make sure it was clear for everyone.

Looking back over my past responses, I've noticed that Flak Jacket has not posted in some time. That is fine, you can play it at that pace if you like, but if you have decided to stop playing, let me know, since there are a couple people I know would like to join but can't because of the cap. So what I'll do is I'll wait a couple days for a response, and if I don't hear from you by then I'll let one more person in. Nothing will happen to Davrim, and if you come back you can still play him.

AoM's last post made me think I should explain myself. His character is quite correct to point out that the gods might not be perfect. Indeed they are not... I liken them more to the Greek gods, or the local village gods of some villages. What makes them gods is essentially their immortality and their heritage, and their control over specific aspects of the cosmos.

Well, I was waiting for Varrius, but it seems he's not been around.
I'm afraid I don't really have the time right now though.
But tommorow, I think, I'll be able to do it.
Sorry, very busy during the summer.
But I not quit. I'll be back tommorow.
Hope Varrius shows up though.

Yeah I expected things would not be as busy once September came along. I'm fine with the pace though, since I am quite busy myself. Look forward to your next response Schme, MushBall is a fun character to work with. Yes, I hope Varrius shows up too... Varrius if you're out there, hope you're okay and we look forward to your next response.

Fortunately, there are parallel story-lines that characters can follow, so if some people are busy and others are less so, the game can still move along.
For clarification, this is the current state of affairs in the Muck Pond:
Beelzebub is on a quest to find a wizard that might restore the wings Garob took from it.
Ao and Tek are on their way to see the Earth goddess, Eriadina, escorted by Kikkik, Eriadina's servant.
Vex/Xev and Briker are off to help Audirda, who has been captured by the Pink Ones.
Erake, MushBall, and Varrius are "enjoying" the company of Bassus and the forest nymphs. MushBall has a nasty hangover and Erake just got hit on without even realizing it.
Audirda just managed to cut a hole in her net but is still stuck in the fish shack.
Davrim is currently vegging on the sea floor.
