*laughs* There goes your blind votes, AoM. And yes, I understand your position. You don't want me hiding under any wings. You happen to open yourself up very nicely, which is why I trust you at all. I unfortunately have little to offer to prove what I am, but then, who does?

"I'm actually happier with the Leo vote for right now.

"Leo, you need to explain why you didn't vote at all on that long day 1. Were you around to at least read what was going on? What were your honest opinions during day one, before it was revealed that saz was good?"

Oh this is Ironic.

You were voting for N-aldwich just a minute ago. What changed your mind? That's awfully shallow... and contradicting of you. Sounds like some sort of behind the scene planning, I think.

Pie... Have you bothered to read what just happened? Of course I changed my vote! That's the whole point.

I JUST GOT DONE SAYING I DIDN'T WANT TO BE BLINDLY FOLLOWED WITHOUT A REASON, and the next thing that happens is that Leo shows up for the first time, BLINDLY FOLLOWING ME WITHOUT A REASON.

He just did EXACTLY what I told him not to do. So now he gets my vote until he explains himself. Was that so hard to follow??? Either get a new reason to vote me or get your vote off of me, Pie.

Is it really too much to ask that people give reasons for votes instead of just saying "I trust so and so, so here's my vote." Unless so and so is a proclaimed priest, you CAN'T just trust someone. You must do your own thinking.

I'm sticking with my initial gut reaction from yesterday. We have been tossed into a difficult mission with limited intel and a deadly enemy hiding amongst us... but thats no reason to lash out at others for no reason.

I'm still looking to form a task force, I need 3 more soldiers willing and ready to take this situation under control. If Racetyme still thinks I'm full of it, perhaps he just doesn't want us organized.

vote Racetyme

And another thing, no more salutes or sirs are coming from me unless I see some bars or stripes.

I'd be all for your task force, but the way I understand it, we have to be sure we are getting soldiers into the force. If there were to be a zombie on your force, it could only lead to disaster. We must be absolutely sure we are picking soldiers when we form up your force. So until then, there isn't a lot we can do about it. And I'm with AoM on this one, Leo jumped right away as soon as there was someone to vote for. I suspect him. I'm putting down my vote now, and leaving it until I get some sort of explanation.

I don't know exactly what you're planning Bowser, but I'm a GOOD soldier, so I'll volunteer for your 'task force.' You don't have to pick me. Just letting you know that I'm up for it.

OOC: I'm going to be away from the computer most of tomorrow, so I apologize in advance that my cantankorous, cigar-smoking persona will be mildly absent for the next ~20 hours. I'll post when I can and hopefully there'll be some good conversation gone on when I come back to analyze it.

*glances over at Racetyme* And now you're jumping in line as well. *stands thinking for a moment, tapping idly at his HUD* Damn... I'm honestly at a loss, but I'd rather not have people getting antsy about Leo before he gets a chance to speak.

You just hold off on me, I'm by no means leaving my vote with Leo, I just want to see what he says. He must have some reason of his own for jumping in line to vote. You, on the other hand, voted for him for the same reasons I did.

*nods, lowering his sites* Fair enough. And as all we've really got's a touch of suspicions, I'd like to see and hear as much as I can before anyone's put underground.

*he turns to the group*

Would you stop squabbling. We're meant to be soldiers... Well, most of us at least... This is no damned playground.

I'm not going to be taking orders from anyone here, I have no reason to trust any of you. I'm no vacant headed grunt. I can reason for myself...
Whoever you vote for.

The government wins.

In the midst of confusion, a lone soldier can be seen in the distance approaching the group.

Hey! *He points towards the approaching newcomer* Possible bogey incoming. I don't know about the rest of you, but I'm keeping my gun on him.
