The construct took Resuso's information with not much time. Andrik nodded at the snake and at Ithicus' greeting and traveled towards the forest, not taking a look back but waving an arm halfway up along the way, the grinding sound echoing it's movements.

The button at the top had an arrow pointing up towards the business end of the thing. Another had an arrow pointing toward the user. Another looked to be a series of concentric circles with a dot in the center. The little switches had labels etched in beside them, though the language made no sense to Tek.
(ooc: How many switches is there?)
*Carefully holding the device Tek lowers himself down onto four limbs and lumbers over to Kikkik to show him him the device* "Are you able to recognise any of these labels Kikkik? I am wary of pushing them without knowing what will happen."

Name: I don't care give me a good one.
Gender: Again, I don't care. I can play both equally well.
Height: 2' 6" (.762 meters)
Weight: 40 lb (18.144 kg)
Hair Color: White
Hair Style: Sholderlength
Eye Color: Brown
Skin Color: Pale
Distinguishing Features: 4 arm-like limbs (sort-of like a monkey in that they can all be used for grasping), deep pouches built into his/her skin. Very nimble(flexible and fast).
-----------------------------------
I poke my head up out of the muckpond taking a quick glance before daring myself to leave the pond and venture up to dry land. Once onland, my four arms furiously begin to unload all the muck that had filled the various pockets lining my stomach and arms, unconciously replacing it with sticks and rocks from the ground. This action continues until a squirrel appears and I flee to some nearby bushes to hide.

(Sorry for my extended absence. School has now begun for me, so expect the game to move rather slowly for the next little while. Swymir, welcome to the game. Not a big deal in this case, but I would ask in future that you do not introduce things besides your own character into the game (e.g. the squirrel) In this case it doesn't affect the game at all really, but I felt it should be mentioned just so it is clear in the future)
(For Schme)
MushBall, with the newly-transformed Yanisha on his shoulder, trod across the field and onto the path leading into the village. As they approached, MushBall noticed that the village was oddly quiet, especially considering how lively it had been just recently. A body lay decaying in some long grass at the side of the path, flies hungrily buzzing about. An unpleasant odour seemed to fill the air, and a subtle haze sat about the village. As they approached, the central bonfire came into view. Heaped upon it were several bodies, wrapped in sheets. The fire licked and spat, feeding upon its ghastly fuel. A couple Pink Ones emerged from a house, carrying a dead villager to his fiery grave. They hefted the man onto the burning pile, then caught sight of MushBall. They looked at each other with terror, and fled into the nearby barn-like structure.
(For AoM and Razorlance. Razorlance, there are 12 switches. The only indicators on them are the labels that you can't read)
Kikkik peered at the device. "I can't read the language, but near as I can figure, that arrow pointing away from you probably is for pushing things away from you, and the arrow pointing toward you would pull them towards you. When the wizard used it, that seemed to be how it worked anyways. I have no idea what the center button would do, but as you said, you probably shouldn't mess with buttons if you don't know what they do. I don't imagine it would hurt to try the first button on that pile of rocks, though I wouldn't try the button that pulls them towards you, that could end badly for us."
The wizard saw Tek fumbling with the device and became visibly agitated. "Don't mess with that, stupid creature!"
(For Pie and Leo)
"The Pink Ones did not attack the Muck Pond, they attacked the forest. They did so because they fear anything outside their village. But by giving in to their fears and killing a child of the Muck, they offended the God of Justice, and he exacted revenge on them." Resuso said to Ithicus.
Andrik entered the forest. Various woodland creatures peered out at the lumbering figure, and birds peeped in the trees, welcoming him into their domain. Up ahead, light entered the forest from the clearing.
(For Nalaris and Swymir. Swymir, you can be female, since we seem to have a shortage of active female characters presently. And her name will be... Omura, if that is satisfactory for you.)
As Deimos walked through the area around the Muck Pond, he spotted the four-armed Omura dive into the bushes.
(Sorry, not much else to say there. I'll let you guys do some interacting if you want. If you want to keep moving, Nalaris, just indicate it in your next post.)

(I'm sorry Fleggle, I didn't expect the squirrel to ever be mentioned again so I didn't see any harm in it, I was just trying to give a quick show of my character's personality. And Omura is fine, along the same lines of what I would have came up with.)

Without looking and trying to remain as concealed as possible, I throw a rock from the bushes at where the squirrel was in hopes of scaring it away.

Omura pokes her head out from the bush looking at the strange creature and quickly retreats back into the bush speaking very quickly, "Ahh. I didn't take anything, I swear. I don't know how it got into my pouch. It must have fallen in. Please don't hurt me." She cowers back making a break across the road to another bush.

Andrik turns back to see Ithicus coming after it, only to turn to the path ahead of it. It examines the trees in his surroundings, and identifies one of great size and support, and tests whether it is able to hold it's own size and mass or not.

As Tek pressed the button, the device began to vibrate, and a high-pitched whine sounded. The air seemed to shift in front of him, and the pile of rocks seemed to explode from within. The rocks crumbled and toppled down the side of the mountain, taking out a sizable chunk of the mountain pass with them. A rather narrow section remained, just large enough for Tek and Ao to cross, single-file.
"I think we might have to risk letting the wizard go, Ao." Kikkik suggested. "It's going to be difficult crossing that passage while holding onto him, and I don't want to bring him with us to Mother's Mouth. It is a sacred place and we don't need his kind fouling it up. He looks sufficiently frightened that he'll probably run away before trying anything foolish." Kikkik resumed his place on Ao's shoulder.
(For Pie and Leo)
"Goodbye, most wonderful creature. I do hope our paths will cross again sometime." Resuso hollered after Ithicus. He slunk back into the groff and disappeared in a wave of crops.
It wasn't difficult for Ithicus to catch up with Andrik, given Andrik's slower pace. The tree than Andrik had picked was large and healthy, and easily held his weight. A songbird that had perched on a high branch detected the disturbance and took flight, flittering down the length of the forest path.

Take? This creature has things for the taking? And is, furthermore, a thief? A thief with a really bad alibi? Well then, in all justice he should be able to do unto her what she had done unto others. Deimos advances again on the creature, and at five feet or so away creates a Mind Myst cloud around her.
