I'd like to reinforce that the ship is tiny. Firing any engine while Flinch is working on one would most likely fry him alive.

No, we cannot go back. We can't, we'll be killed, I don't care how second rate the pirate vessel is, our ship is about as big as their bridge. I'm no expert, but I'm guessing a single hit from cannons that size will turn us to dust. We're safe here. Let's stay that way.

Congratulations, you've escaped the pirates and the evil asteroid field. Captain, what now?

Hey, it's not like I'm being irrational about all this. Ship specs and keeping us alive in a spacefight is my area of expertise. As the doctor has admitted, we're a tiny ship, but that works to our advantage. Those plasma cannons are for disabling large cargo rigs not tracking and hitting fighter class ships... if they hit us we'd be dead... but that's a big IF. They don't have lock on capability, and I'll bet 10,000 to 1 that their turrets can't turn quickly enough to follow our speed, even with the damaged engine. And one more thing. They expect us to run, doing the exact opposite would surprise them. If we came out of nowhere right now and targeted their shields and engines, we could cripple them before they power up their plasma cannons again. Surprise would be on our side.

How about we just redirect an asteroid to start an avalanch, or whatever there calld with asteroids. Stay safe, wile still saving the ship.

If we just redirect ONE ASTEROYD in the right place, then we will be able to distroy the pirats, and save that trading ship.

Mr. Matters, enter the asteriod field and make a stealthy assault against the pirate ship, if it's present there, using Mr. Flinch's suggestion. You might want to use your projectile weapons instead of the ship itself to force the asteriods against the opposing ship.

((ooc: Redirecting asteroids accurately against a ship seems to be a bit complex and more difficult than just directly firing on the ship. How realistic is this plan, because Ira wants to win, not commit suicide.))

(OOC: Actually, it just depends on the size of the asteroyd compared to the size of the ship and the size of all the other asteroyds you want to move. In thery, all you need to do is find one asteroyd, get so its between your wepons and the pirat ship, and fire away. It just depends on if the asteroyd is moving or not.)

You have to make sure your ship does not get destroyed in the process. You have to make sure that the pirates don't detect you. You have to make sure that the asteroids hit the right spot. Unless the bodyguard wants to help out, Ira will be doing all of this himself, very difficult. The bodyguard is, however, a very good shot, being a bodyguard, and so can probably handle the weapons better than Ira.
