Of course you can. I never said I didn't like it. It's just amusing that's all. 8)

Have we been given our roles yet? I'm just curious, in case for some reason your message didn't come through to me.

No, your secret roles have not been given out yet. (Although I have already randomly selected them. ) I am merely giving you all ample time to better define your characters, get accomodated to the situation, and giving every player some extra time to realize that the game has started.

A few people have yet to speak up in the game. I will PM them.

Once every one is in and the group RP's a way forward I will call for an action cycle and then, dependant upon what happens during that, I will write up a scene pushing the plotline forward.

AoM, clarify that smashed glass, is there a hole (big or small) or just a spider-web pattern?

The glass is smashed through... there is a large hole, as if some object hit it with great force. If there was anything in there, it is gone now.

I enjoyed Cpl. Lumin's psychoanalysis of Cpl. Pie :D Very amusing. I found the constant dissassembling and reassembling of the weapon entertaining as well.

Thanks. :) Pie's character reminds me of a guy I know who's got a similar obsession with his car. Always talking about all the little technical details that no one but him cares about, waxing it, messing with the engine, etc. He's an okay guy, but I think it's obvious to anyone he talks that he is so compensating for something.

Edit: And I just want to say I'm glad there's been a delay in giving out the roles, and I'm also glad most of us are playing soldier-types this time around. Playing regular people might offer more variety, but a lot of times it seems like those kind of characters fall into hysterical finger pointing within the first few pages. That's usually fine in a game that relies heavily on lynching random people with little to no evidence, but in this setting the chars are all professionals who you'd expect to rely more on logic and less on big emotional outbursts.

Give me "Werewolf vs Vampire: the Action Movie", over "Werewolf vs. Vampire, the Soap Opera" any day. :D

I'm a bit confused about how areas work in this game. The other characters are asking El_Skwidd's and my character about other locations on this level. Are we just supposed to make stuff up, or wait for AoM to PM us or post stuff? I already made the statement that there was a cafeteria nearby... I assumed it would be pretty likely that each level would have some kind of eating facility.

From what AoM's said, I gather that we can be somewhat creative with the game world, and he'll work that into the storyline?

Also, what are people's opinions on dealing with seperated groups? If everyone thinks that they can deal with it being in the same topic, then maybe each post should be headed with the location or team that the post is meant for, and everyone who isn't with that team / at that location is to ignore it? Radio communications maybe should be indicated somehow?
Whoever you vote for.

Make stuff up and so long as it doesn't horribly interfere with gameplay, I'll work it in.

I don't want to get bogged down with split topics now that I've given it ample time for consideration. I will just put a header on the post telling you who it's for.

I'm confused. Farmer keeps asking me about the layout of the complex, but I have no idea what to say. Am I winging it here? Or do I have blueprints or something?

Keeping in mind the stuff Fleegleton said, yeah, pretty much. I intentionally said that the vampire labs were on a different floor so that we wouldn't overlap. Naturally Fleegleton knows the location of the cafeterias on each floor :)

@El Skwidd: Your character knows the lycanthropy labs well... just take what's already been said and feel free to add on details. So long as we're making a good story and having fun, I don't really mind.

So the short answer is: wing it.

The first post said we had no communication...does that just mean no communication with the outside world, or that things like radios are down too?
