As a reminder: can everyone be careful and, if you change your vote, go back and edit your previos vote to un-bold it? I went through the previous voting posts earlier and it was really easy to see how anyone could get confused, since there were multiple votes from the same person, often for the same person, but also changing votes right and left-- it was pretty messy and hard to tell who was voting for whom.

You know... thats why I don't like certain things about these games. We know too little. There was no backround for us on what we thought of the others from previous accounts... we had no backround history. I know that would take quite a bit of time... but it leads us into walking in circles. People make up past events that have to deal with characters for the sake of Rp. And I agree with it, to an extent. But honestly... in the last ww game, the seer died real early. We honestly had no way to tell who was bad and who was good. Theres no evidence usually left at the crimesceen, or at least one that anyone can decipher.
I think the games just a popularity thing. I definatly enjoy mystery books and whatnot... and this isn't a mystery kinda game.
Rant over.
P.S. Whomever killed me and didn't let me play... I'll get you back, one way or another.

How is this not a mystery game? Ever play a game called clue? This is the same thing, only we don't care where they did it. We already know one of em used a knife. So its a mystery. I doubt they did this as a social simulator. We already got one of those.
But I guess I could be wrong. I just thought they wanted to make it so that the villagers winning isn't dumb luck.

Uh.... this game (also called Are you a Werewolf and Mafia) was around long before Cantr.
It's not a mystery game, because unless the killer wants you to get them, as you pointed out, you don't actually acquire clues.
Clue isn't actually a mystery game, either. It's a logic game, not much different from the logic puzzle books you can buy in the supermarket.
A mystery is a scenario in which clues are revealed and, if you can piece them together correctly, you find out who the culprit is. This is why real mystery games, in order to work properly, require personae and elaborate setups, and are usually sold as a boxed "Host a Murder Mystery Party" set.
This game is much more sinister. In it, you kill, almost randomly, until you get through a night in which the culprits don't kill anyone. The game part is in the daytime, when the characters have to decide who to kill, based on almost no information at all.

Mikki, what you just said up there gave me the worst nightmare last night, that I'd gone to bed earlyish and when I woke up in the morning, the vote had been called within 2 hours and I had been lynched.
Not a pleasant feeling. TSL: can you please make a firm timeline for when votes must be final, and make sure it's at least 24 hours after you announce it? Just cause.... gah. That was a really awful feeling, like being railroaded in an election cycle!
And I have great sympathy for poor Dee.... unlike most of us, she doesn't get to have back-and-forth interactions, because she's in such a different timezone. As a result, when she posts, it seems like she's hyperactive because she has to respond to, like, six things at once!
