Why are you guys doing that? Is there any purpose of this silly game besides of making your post counters higher? Or maybe you think lags in Cantr (booth game and forums are on the same server) are not big enough?

One word posts can hardly be blamed for making the lag worse. People are just trying to have some fun in a way that doesn't require much thinking. And the topic can be deleted in the end if people are worried about others raising their post counts with random crap, although a lot of other stuff is pretty random as well, it just happens to be spread around different topics so you don't notice it.

Ship.

This comment is not about forums influence on the game, but:

The contents of the posts is almost insignificant. From the database point of view length of the post is almost not important for overall performance (except for searching). Number of records really matters. Thousand of one-word-posts are much more worse than ten hundred-words-posts. No matter what car you're driving or how much cargo it is carrying - every car makes traffic.

I think they're telling us to make posts longer and more meaningful.

No, I think that marol's telling us to not make most of our post count wasted with one-letter posts or random/worthless posts.

hello

Well, if we look at this thread as a philosophical exploration into the associative property of the brain, is it truly worthless?

Can the first 30 pages or so of this be deleted? Nobody needs to search it.

But someone should make statistics out of it, like they did with the first thread of this type. Or someone could just copy all the words to Excel.
